Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas. Steve has taken some time off of work which has been nice. My aunt and uncle surprised us again and showed up the night before Christmas eve. It was so fun having them for Christmas. We spent the weekend talking, laughing and eating! My sweet kids surprised us with pictures they had taken. Magen arranged it and coordinated the clothes. The Pictures turned out great. A very treasured gift.

Tim Tam Slam

What is a Tim Tam Slam? Well a Tim Tam is a cookie made by Pepperidge Farm. There are several different varieties; there are two cookie wafers joined by a layer of frosting and then the whole thing is covered in a thin layer of chocolate. The middle layer is usually chocolate or caramel but there are other flavors. Now the slam is the way you eat the Tim Tam. You need a warm beverage, we like hot chocolate. Nibble off diagonal corners of the Tim Tam. Put one nibbled corner in your mouth and the other nibbled corner in the warm beverage. Suck like you would on a straw; when you feel the warmth of the liquid quickly place the entire cookie in your mouth and experience a wonderful surprise.
