The Hollisters are Moving

It's official, The Hollister family is moving. Steve got a promotion at work which requires us to move to the Southeast. We have our choice of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi or Alabama. Our top picks right now are North Carolina and Tennessee and at this point we are leaning toward Tennessee. We have heard really good things about the Nashville area. Steve will begin working down there soon and will scout around various areas to help narrow our search.
The kids are not exactly excited about the prospect of moving away from so many friends and family but they are supportive and beginning to get involved with the moving plans.
We are not sure of our time line but we would like to go sooner than later. We had initially thought that we would wait until the school year is over but the idea of being separated from Steve for so long is not appealing. We will put our house on the market and hopefully head to our new home early this spring.
Since we will be so far from home my goal is to do much better at keeping this blog up to date. My goal is to post something atleast once a week. I will use this blog to keep everyone informed of our activities wherever we end up!
