Spring Vacation Day 7

Steve and I got up early to stand in line for rush tickets to How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Lets just say we were not the only ones. There was a very long line and our hopes for getting the discount tickets were fading. When we finally got our turn to buy tickets there weren't enough for our family but there were some obstructed view tickets available. These were more expensive than the rush tickets but Ryan's excitement over seeing this play had grown and we knew he would be crushed if we didn't get to go. We decided to buy the tickets and went back to the hotel to tell the kids. We used some free subway passess we had been given to visit Ground Zero... and Wall Street. We took the free Statten Island Ferry to get a view of the Statue of Liberty. After dinner at Applebees (we couldn't go to Manhattan without eating at Applebees) we made our way to the theater. I think we would all agree that the play was a definite highlight of the trip. Our seats were amazing; we could see the sweat on Daniel Radcliff's brow. The music and dancing were excellent and left us singing our favorite songs for days. After the play we had an ice cream cone and walked around Times Square one more time. The next morning we headed to the airport for our return flight. This was an amazing trip. We had so much fun experiencing so many new things together.
