Time to BLOG

I can't believe it has been such a long time since I posted a blog. For a while the reason for my absence from the blogging world was simply a lack of material. Nothing really exciting was happening, we were all just trudging through the last months of school and then suddenly life sped up to warp speed. I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to even think about posting. Yesterday we got home from our annual camping trip with Steve's family on the Santiam river which marks the last big event of our summer (we crammed it all into the first month). The rest of the summer will be devoted to projects around the house and a few day trips. We've had a great month but I am ready to be home. I am going to post pictures of some of our grand adventures in the next few days.
